The Hotel's only redeeming feature was that it was ideally located for exploring Southern Ireland.
The Hotel Reception Staff were very pleasant, but it did not make up for the poor standards of the hotel itself. We were a party of four, having booked 2 rooms. On entering the hotel on every occasion without exception, usually at night on return from a day out, we were greeted with a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor leading to our rooms (106 & 107) on the ground floor. We had 1 night where we were disturbed by the alarms going off at 12.15 am but could not get any reply from Reception either on a physical visit or by room telephone, to ascertain whether we should evacuate. When we spoke to the receptionist the following day, she said she was investigating the cause, found to be 'perfume vapour'! We also had an incident outside our windows at 3.30am Wed with 7 police (3 vehicles) stood laughing at youths causing disturbance near hotel windows. Other main concern was cause of complaint to the hotel regarding room cleaning. 7 days spent there, room cleaned beds changed only once when I complained to cleaning staff - last night we all arrived home to find our rooms not touched and bed unmade! Another guest from Sussex also complained by letter of very same thing. These comments need to be taken very seriously and acted upon...the American Diner did little to help with very little for vegetarians, and no english breakfast menu offered. Very few people from hotel seemed to use the Diner, and we only discovered we could get cereals, juice, toast and jam after several days stay.

The bed was super comfy! The check-in was a bit hectic with long waits, and our family room had an unexpected bed situation that needed fixing. Still, a decent stay overall! 😊

Comfort and clean room, smooth booking. Only one very importent complaint:- Address of hotel is very misleading! It is not on the N18 motorway!! In fact we had difficulty in finding it,Why? because the infomation is out of date. I would strongly recomend you look at this problem from all directions as to the approach to the hotel is not seen from the N18 at all! We continued from the south via the tunnel and toll booth on to Bunraty and turned off there to retrace our jurney towards the hotel via the road to Limerick passing four rounderbouts the last one named on the hotel address list. If you were coming from the north on the N18 you would never find it! and sail right by it.Good directions will get you more customers. Thank you.

I found the hotel to be functional. It was conveniently located and it offered great value for the money paid. The Tesco store close by was a great convenience and should be highlighted in your publicity material. My honest opinion is that while it was not a palace I would rate it highly for the category in which it lies. The cleanliness of the premises was excellent.
I was disappointed with the restaurant. I thought it represented a downgrade for the property in general.

I found the staff absolutely fantastic, very obliging and helpful. The rooms were to a very high standard and great value for money also. Ideal for those on a budget who want a clean room and a good nights sleep
Although the hotel was slightly lacking in extra facilities, i can appreciate this given the very reasonable cost.

Limerick vibes and comfy beds 😴
The staff were super friendly and helped with directions to nearby shops. My room was nice and warm with a good power shower-reminded me of a lekker refresh after a long day! Plus, the overall vibe was chill and relaxing, which I really appreciated.
Only downside was the taxi fare from the city centre-€12 ain't too bad but still adds up!

A good choice of good options for meal. Attached restaurant on the premises, beautifully maintained and brand-new room with bedroom, nice power shower, for example. Handy location, easy walk to everywhere. Easy access to Shannon airport, within 25 km.
